KINGSTON, R.I. - CAA Football has announced the game times for all conference matchups during the 2025 season, as well as home non-conference contests.
The conference schedule kicks off with Campbell at defending champion Rhode Island at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 29. There are a pair of 6 p.m. league contests on Saturday, September 6 as Maine visits William & Mary and Stony Brook hosts Rhode Island. On Saturday, September 13, HBCU rivals Hampton and North Carolina A&T meet in Greensboro at 7 p.m. There is at least one conference game during all 13 weeks of the schedule.
Â
The conference slate includes four home games and four road contests for each team. Each team is paired with three permanent partners they play annually. The remaining five slots are filled through a rotation of the 10 remaining members, where each team will play every non-partner opponent at least once over a four-year period. Limiting air travel to reduce costs was a priority, with most teams not having more than one flight during conference play.
Â
The non-conference schedule features 16 games against FBS opponents, including three Big Ten opponents (Iowa, Maryland, Penn State) and three ACC foes (Duke, NC State, Virginia).
Â
Four CAA Football teams earned FCS playoffs berths in 2024, which marked the third year in a row and 14
th time overall that at least four teams were chosen. The conference has had at least one team advance to the semifinals in 10 of the last 12 years and has had a team reach the national championship game 11 times since 2003.
Times for the remaining non-conference games will be announced by each individual institution as they are determined.
