A LOOK AT THE OPPONENTÂ
- Bryant was picked to finish third in the America East Preseason Poll. Defending national champion Vermont was selected to win the league, with New Hampshire picked second in the voting among league coaches.
- Head coach Ruben Resendes is 26-8-7 in his three seasons at the helm of the Bulldogs.
- Last season Bryant was 10-6-4 overall and reached the title game in the America East Championship, falling 2-1 to Vermont.
- In 2023, Bryant was 16-2-2, won the America East and earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
- The Bulldogs return forward Marc Pitarch Bayot, who led the team with nine goals and added three assists last season.
ROCKE, VASIC BRINGS EXPERIENCE TO THE RAMSÂ Â
- Graduate transfer Austin Rocke and senior Parker Vasic - both midfielders - are being counted on to provide leadership for the Rams.
- Rocke - who began his career at Marshall - played 48 matches over the last four seasons at Central Connecticut State.
- He had 10 goals and two assists with the Blue Devils, with a career-high seven goals in 2023.
- Vacic joined Rhode Island after spending the last three seasons with Northern Kentucky.Â
- He played in 46 matches played - including 26 starts - at Western Kentucky.Â
- He has four career goals and three career assists.
- He scored Rhody's second goal in the Iona match.Â
