NEW BRITAIN, CONN. -- Rhode Island finished second with 63 points at the CCSU Ted Owen Invite Saturday. Stony Brook won the meet with 31 points.
Freshman Jason Padula was Rhody's top finisher of the meet, crossing the finish line in 25:54:00 for 11th place. Ryan Kaiser finished 12th in 26:01.50 and Maddox Jordan was 13th in 26:02.70.
Jeremy Roe (26:19.20) and Brayton Gazerro (26:27.00) were 21st and 26th, respectively.
