KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island closed out the Fall portion of its schedule with a dominant weekend at the URI Fall Invite, winning 18 of 21 singles matches while also going 8-2 in doubles play over three days.

Though there were no team results, the Rams played Providence, Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac over the course of the weekend (full results below). All eight URI players who saw action picked up multiple victories.

"Overall, this was a good weekend for the Rams at home," Rhode Island head coach Jonas Brobeck said. "We saw progress with each match on the singles court. Further, we found our identity and competed great in doubles on Sunday. There was a lot of improvement on things we have been working on in practice."

Also going undefeated for the weekend was Kajsa Helgesen, who was 2-0 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles, teaming with Scarlat.
