- At La Salle on Saturday, Itejere just missed his second double-double of the season, finishing with 11 points and nine rebounds.
- For the season, he is averaging 7.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
- Itejere also leads Rhode Island with 39 blocked shots, which ranks tied for fifth in the Atlantic 10.
- Itejere began his career with Shaka Smart at Marquette.
- He then spent two seasons at Northern Kentucky before transferring to Rhode Island for 2025-26.
- He is four points shy of 700 for his career.
JOHNSON CAN DISH IT OUT
- Point guard RJ Johnson has recorded 32 assists over the last five games, including three games with seven or more in that span.
- He is averaging 3.5 assists per game despite coming off the bench for the first 19 games of the season.
