80s Day
Rhody Women's Basketball is throwing it back to the 80s! Rock your favorite 80s outfit and jam out to some awesome 80s hits all game long when Women's Basketball takes on George Washington. Fanny packs will be available to all fans in the south concourse after the men's game while supplies last.

RHODE ISLAND VS. GEORGE WASHINGTON - Series notes 

• Rhode Island returns home to host George Washington in the regular season finale Saturday.
• The two teams meet for the second time this sesason.
• In the first meeting back on Jan. 7, Rhody beat the Revolutionaries 79-70.
• Head coach Tammi Reiss became the winningest coach in program history in the game against George Washington after she won her 123rd game at the helm. Reiss is now up to 134 wins at Rhode Island. 
• Guard Brooklyn Gray exploded for the Rams last time the two teams faced, surpassing 1,000 career points. She finished with 23 points, including a 15-point second quarter. 
• Historically, Rhody is 12-45 all-time against George Washington. 
• URI has won six of the last seven meetings with the Revolutionaries. 
• The last time George Washington visited the Ryan Center, the Revolutionaries stunned the Rams, handing them a 54-46 loss a season ago on March 1, 2025 in the final home game of the regular season.
• Rhody Associate Head Coach Ali Jaques spent the 2023-24 season as an Associate Head Coach in her second stint with the Buff & Blue. Jaques was on the sidelines in the 2006-08 seasons while GW went 55-11 and made consecutive appearances in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
• The game will be the regular season finale. 

SCOUTING THE REVOLUTIONARIES

• George Washington beat St. Bonaventure last time out, 61-47.
• The Revolutionaries are led by Gabby Reynolds and her 13.9 points per game.
• Reynolds is ranked 11th in Atlantic 10 with her scoring average. 
• GW's second leading scorer, Sara Lewis, paces the team in rebounding at 5.6 boards per game.
• George Washington is 15-15 on the year, with a 7-10 slate in Atlantic 10 action.

IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS

• Rhode Island has a chance to clinch a share of its second Atlantic 10 regular season title in seven years under head coach Tammi Reiss with a win Saturday against George Washington.
• The last regular season championship was the 2022-23 season for the first regular season title in program history. 
• Rhode Island is 15-2 in conference play for the first time ever. 
• The 24 wins this season are second-most in program history. The 2022-23 squad won 26 games for the all-time record.

• Rhode Island head coach Tammi Reiss has her final coaches show of the season next Monday, March 2nd live at The Mews Tavern.
• Reiss will be joined by senior Brooklyn Gray and freshman Vanessa Harris.
• The show starts at 6:00 p.m. and is hosted by Zach Austin.
• If fans aren't able to make it to the Mews, they can tune in live to the Varsity Network.
