Rams Compete at UConn Northeast Challenge

Rhode Island men's track and field competed at the UConn Northeast Challenge Friday and Saturday.

Highlights from Competition

Samuel Gott placed third in the 200m in 21.31 seconds.
In the 1500m, Jeremy Roe was third (3:53.01) and Ben Fatone finished fourth (3:53.94).
Lucas Andrade placed second in the 110m hurdles after finishing in 13.95 seconds.
Matthew Lucas was third in the 3000m steeplechase (9:18.72).
The 4x400m relay team placed second in 3:09.94
Josia Katroli placed second in the high jump (2.08m), while Rowan McConkey was third (2.05m) and Cam Miller finished fourth (2.00m).
Nathan Park finished second in the pole vault (4.80m) and Alex Destefano finished fifth (4.55m).
The Rams took the top five in the long jump, after Matt Santy claimed first with a 7.49m leap. Joachim Ennoo placed second (7.47m) and Nathan Shultz was third (7.07m). Izzy Henriques-Setho finished fourth (6.98m) while Damian Scouloukas rounded out the top five (6.96m).
Ennoo won the triple jump (14.74m) while Henriques-Setho placed second (14.51m).
Winslow Sightler was fourth in the shot put after throwing 16.39m. Theo Puterbaugh was fifth (16.30m).
