• Boston University leads the all-time series, 30-2.
• Tuesday's game will be the first meeting between the schools since 2019, when the Terriers beat URI 4-1.
• URI's last win in the series was a 7-3 victory at BU in 201.
• Boston University is 15-1 at home this season, while Rhode Island is 7-12 in road games.

• Last year, they split a doubleheader in Providence, with the Friars winning the first game 10-1 before Rhody responded with a 5-4 victory.
• Dating back to 2015, 10 of the last 11 contests have been decided by three runs or less, including four one-run games.

RAMS CLOSING IN ON 20 WINS 

• With its 5-4 victory at Fordham on Sunday, Rhode Island picked up its 16th win of the season.
• It is the program's most wins in three years, dating back to a 23-win campaign in 2023.
• The Rams need four more victories to reach 20 in a season for just the third time in the last 20 years.
• URI was 21-32-1 in 2012 and 23-31-1 in 2023.
• Since the start of April, Rhode Island is 8-8. The Rams were a combined 8-15 in February and March.

MCNALLY MAKING THE MOST OF PLAYING TIME

• Freshman outfielder Meg McNally has started six of the team's last seven contests.
• She is batting .294 (5-for-17) with three runs scored and two stolen bases in that span.
• McNally is up to a .263 batting average overall.
