Rhody Faces BU, PC In Midweek Games

KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island plays a pair of non-conference midweek games, traveling to Boston University Tuesday afternoon before coming home to host in-state rival Providence Wednesday. The game at BU will be streamed on ESPN+.

RHODE ISLAND VS. BOSTON UNIVERSITY - SERIES NOTESĀ 

  • Boston University leads the all-time series, 30-2.
  • Tuesday's game will be the first meeting between the schools since 2019, when the Terriers beat URI 4-1.
  • URI's last win in the series was a 7-3 victory at BU in 201.
  • Boston University is 15-1 at home this season, while Rhode Island is 7-12 in road games.

RAMS CLOSING IN ON 20 WINSĀ 

  • With its 5-4 victory at Fordham on Sunday, Rhode Island picked up its 16th win of the season.
  • It is the program's most wins in three years, dating back to a 23-win campaign in 2023.
  • The Rams need four more victories to reach 20 in a season for just the third time in the last 20 years.
  • URI was 21-32-1 in 2012 and 23-31-1 in 2023.
