Casey Phelps was named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced Monday. It's the second weekly honor for the Olney, Md. native this season.
Phelps made eight saves in Rhody's win over George Mason this past Saturday. The keeper held the Patriots to five goals.
Phelps and the Rams are back in action on Saturday to host Saint Joseph's in the regular season finale at the URI Soccer Complex.
