KINGSTON, R.I. — Rhode Island women's soccer collected the 2025-26 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award, it was announced Friday. The Rams were recognized for their performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.

URI is one of 777 teams, including 451 women's teams, who posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher to earn the accolade. The Rams boasted a 3.55, collectively.

The Rams open their season against Maine on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at the URI Soccer Complex at 7:00 p.m.
