FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The final round of the Doc Gimmler was called off due to heavy rain and standing water on the Bethpage State Park Red Course. The results through two rounds will stand as the final results for the tournament.

"St. John's did all it could for us to play today but as always, Mother Nature is undefeated," Rhode Island head coach Gregg Burke said. "We wanted one more round because we would have moved up five or six spots the way we were playing."

Rhode Island is back in action Monday, Sept. 21 when it travels to Davidson, N.C. for the River Run Collegiate.
