PITTSBURGH - The Rhode Island men's soccer team lost its second-overtime match in three days, this time at the hands of Duquesne, 1-0, in double overtime in Atlantic 10 action this afternoon.
The Rams (5-7-1, 1-2 A-10) also fell in overtime, 2-1, at Saint Louis on Friday.
Sunday marked only the second time in 13 matches this season that URI had been held scoreless, the last time coming in a 1-0 loss at Old Dominion on Sept. 9.
Duquesne (10-2, 4-0 A-10) scored the game-winning goal in the 105th minute off a header of a direct kick.
Rhode Island begins a four-match homestand on Friday (Oct. 21) when it hosts Atlantic-10 rival La Salle at 7:00 at the URI Soccer Complex.
