GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The third and final game of the University of Rhode Island baseball team's series with No. 12 ranked Florida has been cancelled due to rain.

The Rams gave the Gators a scare in the season opener on Friday, before falling 5-4. Florida posted a 6-0 victory on Saturday afternoon.

Rhode Island (0-2) returns to action next Saturday with a doubleheader at Maryland-Baltimore County beginning at 12:00 p.m.
