NEWTON, Mass. - The Rhode Island men's soccer team conceded two late goals as it fell to No. 10 Boston College, 2-0, Tuesday night at BC's Newton Campus Field. Redshirt junior Peyton Warwick recorded six saves in the loss.

Despite Rhody keeping the Eagles off the board for nearly 80 minutes, Boston College found the back of the net at the 78:55 mark when Charlie Rugg headed a service from Colin Murphy past Warwick for the 1-0 lead. BC doubled its lead just four minutes later on a goal by Edvin Worley. Kyle Bekker and Patrick Chin were credited with assists on the play.

Junior David Malloy led the Rams with four shots - two of which were on goal - while Rhody held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks. The Eagles, meanwhile, held an 8-4 advantage in shots on goal.

With the loss, Rhode Island drops to 2-4-0 while BC improves to 4-0-2.

The Rams return to action on Friday night when they travel to Boston University for a 7 p.m. match at Nickerson Field.
