BOSTON -- Rhode Island dropped a 3-0 decision at Boston University on Friday night.

BU tallied two first half goals - an unassisted score in the 24th minute, followed by a rebound shot in the 45th minute - taking a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.

In the second half, the Terriers added their third and final goal in the 59th minute.

Peyton Warwick played 78 minutes and made six saves. URI backup Anthony Tavares played 12 minutes and did not face any shots.

The Rams return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 29 when they travel to Tampa, Fla. to face USF. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
