Rhody Swimming & Diving Comes Up Close Against UNH

KINGSTON, R.I. - The University of Rhode Island women's swimming & diving team lost its first home meet on Saturday, falling 160-120 to New Hampshire.

FIRST

Susan Nugent won the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:40.59).

SECOND

Katie Mangano, Rachel Revolinski, Sarah Keshishian and Chaya Zabludoff placed second in the 400-yard medley relay, timing in at 3:59.38, just behind New Hampshire's winning finish of 3:58.28.

Sarah Keshishian finished in 1:55.11 in the 200-yard freestyle.

Katie Mangano completed the 100-yard backstroke in 1:00.68.

In the 100-yard breaststroke, Rachel Revolinski finished in 1:06.78.

Jessica Andruzzi finished the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:29.72.

THIRD

Caitlin Carter took third in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:47.26).

Eileen Morrison finished in 25.71 in the 50-yard freestyle.


In the 1-meter dive, Cara Brown finished in 197.62.

Sarah Keshishian completed the 500-yard freestyle in 5:21.11.

THREE IN A ROW

Susan Nugent (59.82), Rachel Revolinski (1:00.26) and Colette Aubin (1:02.69) finished the 100-yard butterfly in the top three spots.

In the 3-meter dive, Julie Coleman (190.42), Cara Brown (182.85) and Sasha White (171.60) earned the top three spots.

Chaya Zabludoff (2:14.42), Sarah Keshishian (2:14.98) and Caitlin Carter (2:20.55) swept the first three spots in the 200-yard IM.

In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Katie Mangano, Rachel Revolinski, Taylor Gannon and Rachel Henninger finished in 1:41.50., Colette Aubin, Susan Nugent, Lauren Blais and Emily Thomesen in 1:43.56, and Jennifer Lopez, Teresa Lincoln, Stacey Stepniak and Jessica Andruzzi in 1:47.45.

SECOND AND THIRD

Katie Mangano (53.22) and Chaya Zabludoff (54.42) earned second and third, respectively, in the 100-yard freestyle.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Rams host Providence in a PINK OUT meet on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m.
