Women's Swim & Dive Win in Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The women's swimming & diving team is coming back to Kingston with a win after defeating Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y., 155-145.

Emily Thomesen, Rachel Revolinski, Colette Aubin and Susan Nugent won the 200-yard medley relay (1:51.35) Wagner's second-place team finished in 1:52.99. And Rhode Island's 400-yard freestyle relay (Chaya Zabludoff, Sarah Keshishian, Revolinski and Nugent) won in 3:36.57.

Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Andruzzi, Taylor Gannon and Eileen Morrison earned third in the 200-yard medley relay in 1:54.51.

Chaya Zabludoff won the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.57) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:13.28), and placed third in the 100-yard freestyle (54.45).

Sarah Keshishian placed second in the 50-yard freestyle (25.54) and third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.94).

Rachel Revolinski (1:09.23) and Jessica Andruzzi (1:09.89) earned first and second, respectively, in the 100-yard breaststroke and in the 200-yard breaststroke Andruzzi won (2:28.46) and Revolinski earned second (2:30.24).

Andruzzi won the 200-yard IM (2:14.43) and Emily Thomesen placed third (2:17.06). In the 100-yard backstroke Thomesen placed second (1:02.14) and in the 200-yard backstroke placed third (2:15.61).

Susan Nugent won the 200-yard butterfly (2:09.69) and the 100-yard butterfly (59.37).

Taylor Gannon placed third (2:16.83) in the 200-yard butterfly.

In the 1-meter dive, Cara Brown took second (186.97) and Sasha White third (168.15).

In the 3-meter dive, Brown again earned second (166.87) and Julie Coleman placed third (156.97).

Next, the Rams have their final home meet of the season. They host Vermont on Jan. 28 at 12 p.m. EST.
