How It Happened:
Brown jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute when Thomas McNamara scored on a penalty kick. Rhody appeared to have evened things up in the opening minutes of the second half, but an offsides call negated a sliding goal by redshirt junior Joey Haught.

- Brown held a 16-11 advantage in total shots and a 10-3 edge in shots on goal.
- The Rams recorded five corner kicks, compared to the Bears' four.
- Rhody committed 14 fouls to Brown's 11.
- Sophomore Matt Sykes led the Rhody offense with six shots, three of which were on goal. McNamara took a team-high four shots for Bruno.
- Redshirt junior Adam Blanchard finished with eight saves while Sam Kernan-Schloss turned away three shots for the Bears.
Additional Notes:
- The loss drops Rhody to 13-37-2 in the all-time series vs. Brown.
- Senior captain Robby Gargaro has not missed a game - or a start - since joining the Rams in 2009. As a freshman, he started in each of URI's 20 matches and went on to start all 18 games in both 2010 and 2011. Friday's contest against Brown extended Gargaro's streak to 58 consecutive starts.
