Setting the Scene
Rhode Island's Janel Conley and Caroline Warren competed at the Harvard Pentathlon Friday. Conley was Rhode Island's top finisher, placing fifth in the field of 16. The freshman scored 3098 points. Warren placed 12th in the event, compiling 2718 points.

Rhode Island Results

  • Conley was the top finisher in the shot put, throwing a distance of 36'7. She tied for second in the high jump (5'3) and placed fifth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.23). Her hurdles time was a New England qualifying mark.
  • Warren had the seventh best time in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing in 9.47 seconds. She also tied for eighth in the shot put (27'1.25).
