Day Two Results
Setting the Scene
Rhode Island finished day number two of the Atlantic 10 Championship with 129 total points and are currently in seventh place. Richmond is in first place with 236.5 points.
Rhode Island Results
- Chaya Zabludoff came in first in the 500-yard freestyle (4:48.37) and gained 20 points for the Rams. She set a team and pool record.
- In the 200-yard individual medley Emily Thomesen placed 13th of 47 (2:05.52) and earned Rhody four points.
- Porshe Brown grabbed the third spot in the 50-yard freestyle (23.49) and gained Rhode Island 16 points. She broke the varsity record in the event.
- Cara Brown placed 16th of the 19 total contestants (162.05) and earned Rhody one point.
- The relay team of Porshe Brown, Colette Aubin, Chaya Zabludoff and Sarah Keshishian placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay and earned URI 30 points. The relay team broke the URI record and Brown again broke her record with a 23.31.
