How It Happened
Rhode Island got on the board in the 22nd minute when Ryan Bailey scored his second goal in as many games to put the Rams up 1-0. Dante Lamb picked up an assist on the play, as his hintial shot was punched away, but Bailey was there to knock in the rebound.
Lamb then tacked on an insurance goal in the 88th minute, beating NJIT's Christian Foust off a pair of quick passes from Dominik Richter and Nick Ferguson.
