How It Happened
After a scoreless first half, St. Francis Brooklyn got on the board less than two minutes into the second frame when Cyril Coisne netted a penalty kick to make it 1-0 Terriers. The goal would stand as the game-winner, but Vincent Bezecourt added an insurance tally at 86:31. Yussuf Olajide was credited with the assist as he slipped the ball up to Bezecourt, who lifted a shot over Rhody's Nils Leifhelm. Leifhelm was able to get a hand on the ball, but was unable to punch it high enough to clear the crossbar.
Rhody's best chances came from Carlo Davids - on a first-half free kick that missed just high and a second-half attempt that St. Francis' Jack Binks was able to stop.
