How it Happened
Rhode Island (4-6-1, 1-0-0) overcame an early deficit and scored a pair of unanswered goals to take down Davidson, 2-1, in Saturday night's Atlantic 10 opener.

The Wildcats (1-8-0, 0-1-0) got on the board in the 13th minute, when Maxi Pragnell fired a shot in off the post for the early advantage. The Rams evened it up at one apiece 17 minutes later, however, when Niklas Middrup headed in a Stavros Zarokostas corner kick.

Just 2:17 into the second half, Ryan Bailey finished a give-and-go sequence between Emil Jesman Sunde and Carlo Davids, putting Rhode Island on top 2-1.

Rhode Island shut things down from there, with Nils Leifhelm stopping each of the next five shots he faced and the Rams' defense blocking a pair of Davidson attempts.
