How it Happened
Rhode Island (6-10-1, 3-4-0) scored three first-half goals to put things away early on Senior Night at the URI Soccer Complex. The Rams went up 1-0 in the 11th minute when Stavros Zarokostas converted a penalty kick after Nick Ferguson was tripped in the box.

Rhody doubled its lead in the 31st minute when Dominik Richter fired a shot into the far corner from the edge of the box. Richter tallied his second of the night five minutes later, on another Rhode Island penalty kick.

George Mason registered its only goal of the night at the start of the second half as Conlan Kemmerer collected a loose ball and snuck a shot inside the right post at the 46:03 mark.
