How it Happened
Brown (4-3-0) got on the board first, taking a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute after Matthew Chow blasted a shot across the box and into the back corner of the net for the early advantage. Nico Lozada was credited with an assist on the play.

Rhode Island (3-5-1) evened it up before the break when Wesley Matthews flicked a Peder Kristiansen corner past Brown's Erik Hanson to make it a 1-1 game.

It was all Rhody after the break as the Rams outshot the Bears 11-2 and held a 9-1 advantage in corner kicks throughout the second half. However, Hanson came up with some huge saves to keep Brown in it.

With the score still knotted at one apiece after 90 minutes of regulation, the game went to overtime, where Chow finally ended things with his second goal of the night off a feed from Nate Pomeroy.
