Results:
Rhode Island wins the Harold Anderson Invitational with a meet high score of 788.50. Bryant, Assumption, Providence, Holy Cross, and Maine followed Rhode Island respectively.

Highlings in the Pool:

  • Sophomore Caitlin Guccione won the 100yd butterfly with a 57.23 final time. Teammate and freshman Kelly Blake finished second.
  • Guccione finished in first place in the 200yd butterfly as well.
  • Senior Hannah Homans' 57.13 final time in the 100yd backstroke placed her first place. She finished second in the 200yd backstroke.
  • Senior Sydney Williams finished first in the 1650yd freestyle, while sophomore Sabrina Anderson finished fourth.
  • Junior Nicole Petta finished first in the 100yd breaststroke, posting a 1:04.53 final time. 
  • Petta also finished in first place in the 200yd breasttroke with a 2:21.61 time. Freshman Brooke Kelley and sophomore Cassidy Fries finished second and third respectively.
  • Junior Grace Kneller, Petta, junior Eliza Anderson and Dunn together posted a 3:34.54 time that finished first in the 400yd freestyle relay.
  • Sophomore Katy Evans scored a 225.65 final score that placed her second in the 3-meter dive. 
  • Sophomore Mackenna Dunn finished in fourth place in the 200yd freestyle. 
  • Overall, Rhode Island won 10 of the 21 events over the course of the two days. 

What's Next
Rhode Island will be in Sarasota, FL on December 31 for a New Year's Eve meet vs. Richmond. The start time is TBD.
