Results:
Rhode Island won the intrastate rivalry 175-95 over Providence.

Highlights from the Pool:

  • Rhode Island took first place in 12 of the 15 events. 
  • Senior Hannah Homans finished first in the 50-yard backstroke and the 100-yard backstroke with 27.39 and 58.88 times respectively. 
  • Sophomore Emma Grace Pecha's won the 200-yard freestyle event and finished third in the 100-yard backstroke. 
  • Junior Nicole Petta finished with a 30.70 time in the 50-yard breaststroke, winning the event.
  • Sophomore Caitlin Guccione won the 100-yard butterfly with a 58.93 time, followed by freshman teammate Brooke Kelley.
  • The 1-meter and 3-meter dive was won by sophomore Katy Evans, followed by teammates Cameron Murray and Alyssa Campone.
  • Kelley placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a 1:07.49 time.
  • Rhode Island earned the three best times in the 200-yard medley, with Mackenna Dunn, Nicole Petta, Brooke Kelley, Maddie Horner together finishing first. 

What's Next
Rhode Island remains home for a quick turnaround against New Hampshire on Saturday, November 4th. The meet is set to begin at 11:00 a.m.
