Rhode Island (6-4) finished the regular season strong with a victory in their last head-to-head matchup of the year against Bryant, 138-123.
Highlights From the Pool
- The Rams kicked off the meet strong with a one-two finish in the 200-yard medley relay. The team of Lauren Folkert, Carly DeLiberty, Bridget Whalen and Grace Kneller took the top spot with a time of 1:50.10.
- The winning would continue in the 1000-yard freestyle, in which junior Sydney Williams took the top spot with a 10:38.29. Williams would also win the 500-yard freestyle with a 5:13.92.
- Coming off of a three-win week two weeks ago, sophomore Nicole Petta continued to dominate with a win in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.33).
- Senior Bridget Whalen won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:11.97.
- Sophomore Grace Kneller took gold in the 100-yard freestyle (54.68). Whalen finished second in the event with a 54.87.
- Freshman Caitlin Guccione took the 100-yard butterfly with a 1:00.28, edging out Bryant's Taylor Poliseno by .08 seconds.
- Senior Lauren Folkert won her 11th solo event of the year, taking gold in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:13.82.
- Rhody capped the meet off with the team of Kneller, Whalen, DeLiberty and Eliza Anderson winning the last event of the day, the 200-yard freestyle relay.

This concludes Rhode Island's regular season. The Rams travel to the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio from Wednesday, Feb. 15 to Saturday, Feb. 18 for the Atlantic 10 Championship.
