Highlights from the Pool:
- Rhode Island placed first in six of the 15 events Tuesday.
- The Rams finished in the top three in 11 of the 15 events.
- Rhode Island has now lost 18 consecutive meets to the Minutewomen
- Senior Hannah Homans took first in the 100-yard backstroke (58.41). This is her fifth time winning the event this season.
- Freshman Brooke Kelley, for the first time this season, placed first in the 200-yard individual medley (2:17.06). She also placed second in the 20-yard breastroke (2:28.51).
- Junior Nicole Petta finished first in the 200-yard breastroke (2:25.72).
- Sophomore Caitlin Guccione took first in the 100-yard butterfly (59.29) for the third time this season.
- The group of Homans, Kelley, freshman Kelly Blake and sophomore Mackenna Dunn won the 200-yard medley relay (1:49.17).
- Junior Eliza Anderson, junior Grace Kneller, Dunn and Blake finished first in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:41.74). The Rams took second and third in this event as well.
- Senior Sydney Williams placed second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:16.19).
- Sophomore Maddie Horner took home a couple third place finishes today in the 500-yard freestyle (5:20.84) and a personal best time in the 50-yard freestyle (25.25).
