  • Redshirt senior Brandon Gillis was +4 through the first nine holes, but battled to go 1-under on the back nine and finish with a final-round 75, which tied him for 24th place (73-76-75=224).

  • Sophomore Jack Tegan tied for 51st place, finishing 13 strokes over at 229 (79-74-76).
Head Coach Gregg Burke Said…
  • This was a program win. The guys fell three behind but never gave up. To have five guys combine to go one under over the final three holes when the team ahead of us went two over was the difference.
  • I was thrilled for Caleb Manuel of UConn. We have special relationships with a lot of the UConn kids. We recruited Caleb, Tommy and Logan. Just great families. And I have always been a Jared Nelson fan.
  • We have a lot of tinkering to do with big leads but this was a solid win for us.
What's Next
