The men's track and field team opened the 2021-22 indoor season competing at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener Saturday. The meet was a non-scoring invitational.

Highlights from Competition

• Jolon O'Connor won the 200 meters with a time of 22.15 seconds. Julian Thomson was third (22.64s) and Nathanial Barjolo was fourth (22.69s).
• In the 300 meters, Liam Creeley finished sixth with a time of 34.49 seconds. Robert Hauser (35.30s) and Joe Manetta (35.42s) also finished for the Rams.
• Jarrett Young finished second in the 400 meters in 49.19 seconds. Jordan Ross crossed the finish in 51.78 seconds for eighth place.
• CJ Kiviat was sixth for the Rams in the 600 meters (1:21.98). Lucas Plaia (1:24.29) and Roniel Mata (1:26.49) finished sixth and 15th, respectively.
• Owen Fleischer placed sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:57.85.
• In the 1000 meters, Collin Ochs placed third (2:28.10) and Nathan Coogan finished fifth (2:29.20).
• Kellen Waters the top finisher for the Rams in the 3000 meters, finishing  22nd in 8:21.12. Tyler Rubush was 24th (8:23.97), Cole Baker finished 41st (8:47.80), and Aidan Kindopp placed 51st (8:58.02).
• Devin Donahue finished seventh in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.41 seconds.
• The 4x100 meter relay team of Jordan Ross, Jarrett Young, Lucas Plaia, and CJ Kiviat placed third in 3:20.51.
• Jack Reichenbach placed second in the high jump with a mark of 2.05 meters. John Santos was fourth (1.90m).
• In the pole vault, Mason Brubaker finished second after clearing 4.65 meters.
• With a jump of 7.10 meters, Garrett Robinson won the long jump. Jack Reichenbach was seventh (6.87m) and Davon Tate was eighth (6.82m). Isaiah Webster also finished for the Rams, leaping 5.91 meters for 23rd.
• Robinson also won the triple jump with a mark of 14.65 meters. 
• Derek Jacobs placed second in the shot put, throwing 16.81 meters. Nick Morse finished fourth (14.47m).
• Rhody swept the weight throw, claiming the top four finishes. Johnathan Buchanan took the crown with a throw of 17.91 meters. Derek Jacobs placed second (16.69m), Jide Akinjisola was third (16.66m), and Sam Bond was fourth (15.89m). Alexander Baez finished eighth with a 14.81 meter throw.
