  • Sophomore Nate Ingram is tied for 28th overall, even through 36 holes. He went 1-under in the morning and 1-over in the afternoon
  • Redshirt senior Brandon Gillis is one stroke behind Ingram with a 1-over 145 (73-72), which has him tied for 34th place.
  • Sophomore Andrew DiPetrillo was 1-under after the first 18, but got tripped up with a triple bogey on the fourth hole the second time through. Like Gillis, he will enter Tuesday's final round tied for 34th overall at 145 (71-74).
  • Junior Bryson Richards is tied for 52nd place, combining for a two-round score of 149 (76-73).
Head Coach Gregg Burke Said...
  • It was a solid day for us but we dropped too many shots in the final four holes.
  • A week ago, we saw our first two players finish 1-over and the next three combine to finish 32 over. Today our first three were 7-over and the other two were 3-under. That shows we can be very, very good.
  • There was a lot of excitement when we climbed to second late in the first round, but as we always say when we are playing poorly, "It is a 54-hole tournament." The same is true when you are playing well. You have to play all 54 before you evaluate how well you played.
