• After two rounds of play, Rhode Island is tied for eighth place among the field of 15.
• The Rams were tied for 10th place after the first round, but shot 2-under the second time through to move into a tie – with Marquette – for eighth overall.
• Rhody will enter Tuesday's final round 1-over par (287-282=569).
• Troy leads the field after the first day of play, at 15-under. Appalachian State (-10) and LIU (-9) round out the top-3.

Individual Results

• Junior Bryson Richards leads Rhode Island after two rounds. He is in seventh place with a -5-under 137 (68-69).
• Redshirt senior Brandon Gillis is one of five players to be even through two rounds (70-72=142). That score ties him for 35th overall.
• Redshirt senior Jordan Brajcich and sophomore Jack Tegan are tied for 46th overall at +3. Brajcich went 76-69 while Tegan was 73-72.
• Senior Austin Fox is tied for 80th at 153 (80-73).

Head Coach Gregg Burke Said...

• There were a lot of good things on a day of golf where we left a dozen shots out there on very scorable par fives and shorter par fours.
• The first 18 was kicking off some rust and the second 18 was a time to stretch our legs. We got it to five under but the mental fatigue of not competing for five months caught up with us.
• Bryson showed again that he is our best player. He wanted a lot more out of his second round but a card with no bogies is good anytime and anywhere.
• I was proud of Jordy's bounce back.
• Brandon had as bad a putting day as I have seen in the seven years I've watched him, so I expect a great number from him tomorrow.
• We were rated seventh coming in so let's see what tomorrow brings.
