The Rams have a nine-stroke lead over second-place Rider (+6).
Bucknell (+8), Fairfield (+9) and Colgate (+9) round out the top-5.

Individual Results

Redshirt senior Jordan Brajcich and junior Bryson Richards are tied for second place after one round. Both golfers carded a 3-under 69.
Senior Austin Fox is in an 8-way tie for 10th place at 1-over (73).
Sophomore Jack Tegan finished the opening round with a 2-over 74 to tie for 18th overall.
Redshirt senior Brandon Gillis will enter Sunday's final round tied for 27th, with a 3-over 75.

For the second tournament in a row, we faced incredible winds but preserved. It was a six-and-half hour round, so playing so well in those conditions is a credit to how hard our guys have worked on their strength and conditioning.
We have hit countless balls indoors and have played outside in near-freezing weather to prepare for this semester. That work paid off today.
Every single player was under par at some point today. We will need that kind of effort tomorrow to win this.
Even though we have two players on the sidelines who would normally play, the last tournament as well as today's round, is a credit to how hard Austin and Jack have worked to play for us.
Tomorrow will be ball-striking, patience, and more perseverance in the winds and cold. The toughest team will win tomorrow.
