Playing in his first tournament of the spring, junior Andrew DiPetrillo turned in Rhody's best score of the day. His 2-under 70 is just one stroke off the lead.
Redshirt senior Jordan Brajcich is in an 8-way tie for 10th place at 1-over (73).
Junior Bryson Richards and redshirt senior Brandon Gillis each went 3-over (75) during the opening round to tie for 27th overall.
Senior Austin Fox will enter the final round of play in 100th at 11-over (83).

I'm really proud of Andrew for his consistency as much as anything, especially given that was just his third full round of any kind in seven months.
I have never seen anyone be more diligent with rehab than Andrew. And when he was restricted from certain movements in the weight room, he doubled down in the knee he could do.
Jordy continues to impress. His ball striking has been incredible.
Bryson and Brandon combined for 67 putts and six over. Neither will happen in the second round.
