BLOOMINGTON, IN. — Rhode Island junior Lucas Frost started day one of the 2022 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminary Round with competition in the javelin. Frost finished 22nd of 48 entries, ahead of his 24th-place seeding. Frost had a throw of 64.86 meters (212' 9") at his second straight NCAA appearance.
