Senior
Marta Baumann won the 1-meter dive in her final competition at the Tootell Aquatic Center in Rhode Island's 195-105 loss to New Hampshire Saturday afternoon.
Baumann won the event with a score of 257.93 and fellow senior
Willow Dunster was second with a score of 244.80. The Rams took the top six spots in the event, as
Olivia Winslow (238.43),
Lily Hsu (236.25),
Brianna Tocco (234.53) and
Carleigh Schlissel (228.60) finished third through sixth, respectively.
Hsu added a win in the 3-meter diving event with her score of 258.53. Winslow (241.95) was second while Tocco (231.90) added a fourth-place finish as Rhody scored 15 team points in the event.
Unfortunately New Hampshire won the other 14 scoring events to come away with the team victory.

Standouts from the Pool
- Freshman Ella Hacker had a strong second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly. Her time of 2:08.75 was just 0.66 seconds behind UNH's Chiara Pradissitto.
- Hacker and sophomore Jackie Triglia finished second and third in the 100 butterfly.
- Freshman Rylee Kelly placed third in the 1000-yard freestyle with her time of 10:47.40.
- Junior Mia Bonvissuto and senior Aimee Garcia placed third and fourth, respectively, in the 200-yard freestyle.
- Garcia added a second-place finish in the 200 breaststroke.
- Senior Julia Renna was third in the 100-yard backstroke, while sophomore Kelsey McMenemy added a fourth-place finish in the race.
- Junior Mackenzie Thomas was third in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.95. She was just 0.81 seconds behind the winner.
- Rhode Island took four of the top six spots in the 50 freestyle. Freshman Abby Zadorozny was second in a time of 24.99. Senior Camryn Kreuscher (25.40), sophomore Quinn Frost (25.53) and sophomore Casey Fusco (25.57) were third through sixth.
What's Next
Rhode Island heads to Vermont next weekend for a head-to-head battle. The meet is Saturday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m.
