KINGSTON, R.I. — The Rams hosted their first indoor meet of 2023 Saturday, competing in the URI Invitational at Mackal Field House. The meet was non-scoring.

On the Track

• Trinity Smith won the 60 meter hurdles crossing the finish line in 8.72 seconds.
• Smith placed third in the 60 meter finals in 7.88 seconds. 
• Amyah Santana finished fourth in the 400 meters with a time of 1:01.65, and Sanaiya Watts placed sixth in 1:02.91.
• Hannah Birdsall placed second in the 500 meters in 1:17.24.
• Sophia DiMuccio finished 14th in the mile with time of 5:21.91, and Olivia Skapczynski finished 15th in 5:24.12.
• Hanna O'Connor placed second in the 800 meters (2:19.25), just ahead of Erin Hurley who was third in 2:19.73.
• Becca Durham placed second in the 1000 meters with a time of 2:59.14.
• The 4x800m relay team of O'Connor, Birdsall, Durham, and Lily Saul won in 9:11.86.
• The 4x400m relay team of Sydney Federico, Smith, Santana, and Watts placed fourth with a time of 4:09.80.\The distance medley relay team of Lindsay Turgeon, Hasna Badji, Anne Hagan, and Hurley won in 12:43.27.

In the Field

• Jacqueline Edoro marked 5.35 meters in the long jump for fourth place.
• Kiley Mironenko was 11th in the high jump with a mark of 5.04 meters.
• Edoro won the triple jump with a mark of 11.46 meters, and Mironenko finished eighth (10.73m).
• Megan Wood placed third in the shot put throwing 12.82 meters. Isabella Sposato was sixth after marking 11.55 meters.
• In the weight throw, Wood was fourth (15.66m) and Erynn Field finished seventh (15.56m).
• The Rams had five finish in the top 10 in the pole vault, led by Caroline Larkin's second place (3.51m). Katie Welsh was fourth (3.36m), while Sophie Hagymas and Sarah Parr both cleared 3.21 meters for fifth place. Sydney Shannon finished 10th with a 3.06-meter mark.
