RHODE ISLAND VS. DELAWARE - SERIES NOTES

• Saturday's game will be the first meeting between the schools. 
• Rhode Island is in the midst of playing three CAA opponents in a span of four games.
• The Rams fell at College of Charleston 85-70 on Dec. 10 and will face Northeastern at home on Dec. 21.
• While the schools have never met on the hardwood, Rhode Island is a member of the CAA in football and has played against Delaware 36 times on the gridiron dating back to 1922. 

• John Brickley will handle the play-by-play for FloHoop.com's stream of the game.

GETTING STARTED THE WRIGHT WAY

• Sophomore guard Always Wright made his first career start last time out against College of Charleston.
• He responded by scoring a career-high nine points and dishing out six assists while serving as the primary ball handler.
• A junior college transfer from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, Wright earned First Team All-Region honors and was a Region II First Team All-Conference selection last season.
• He averaged 14.7 points, 6.4 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game while turning in a 3.3 assist-to-turnover ratio.
• This season, Wright has 25 assists and 17 turnovers while averaging 2.9 points per game.
