BOSTON, MASS. — Rhode Island women's track and field made the trip to Boston for the David Hemery Valentine Invite Friday. The Rams competed in the 60m, 60m hurdles, 200m, and 800m, along with the 4x400m relay. Senior Trinity Smith broke the 60m hurdle school record with her first-place finish to lead the Rams.

Highlights from the Track
- Trinity Smith won the 60m hurdles in a school-record time of 8.49 seconds.
- Xiana Twombly finished 30th in the 200 meters. She crossed the finish line in 24.95 seconds. Smith was 50th (25.25s) and Sydney Federico was 68th (25.45s).
- In the 60m prelim, Twombly finished 16th in 7.89 seconds.
- Lily Saul finished 47th in the 800m with a time of 2:08.66.
- The 4x400m relay team of Hannah Birdsall, Federico, Saul, and Smith finished 17th in 3:52.67.
