BOSTON, MASS. — Rhode Island women's track and field finished fourth at the New England Indoor Championship Friday. The Rams collected 85 team points in 20 events scored over the two-day championship.

Champions

• The 4x800 meter relay team of Hanna O'Connor, Hannah Birdsall, Becca Durham, and Lily Saul won in 9:11.24 for the crown. 
• Becca Durham claimed the 1000 meter title in 2:51.41.
• Trinity Smith won the 60m hurdles for the crown in 8.64 seconds. 

Highlights from Competition

• Xiana Twombly finished sixth in the 60 meters in 7.86 seconds. 
• Jacqueline Edoro finished fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.56 meters (37' 11.25").
• Lily Saul placed third in the 500 meters with a time of 1:15.12, and Hannah Birdsall finished fifth in 1:15.90.
• Hanna O'Connor placed second in the 800 meters in 2:14.91.
• Megan Wood placed third in the shot put after throwing 12.92 meters (42' 4.75").
