• Rhode Island and Saint Louis are facing each other for the 24th time overall.
• The Rams lead the all-time series, 13-10, but Saint Louis has won the last three meetings.
• Rhode Island is 6-6 when playing Saint Louis at Chaifetz Arena.
• The last time the teams met, Saint Louis won 80-74 on March 2, 2022 in the Ryan Center.
• Saint Louis was led by Gibson Jimerson, who had 22 points and made five 3-pointers while Fred Thatch, Jr. had 21 points and 13 rebounds. Yuri Collins just missed a double-double with 10 points and nine assists.
• Rhode Island's top returning scorer from the last meeting was Jalen Carey with nine points. Ishmael Leggett had eight points, and Sebastian Thomas scored seven to go with five rebounds.
• Both teams are coming off of losses. Rhode Island had a two-game win streak snapped with a 64-50 loss at Saint Joseph's last Wednesday. Saint Louis has dropped two straight, losing 73-65 to VCU Friday night after falling 75-65 at Fordham last Tuesday.
• Saint Louis guard Yuri Collins leads the country with 10.2 assists per game. Rhode Island averages 11.9 assists per game as a team.
• The game features the top two fastbreak scoring teams in the Atlantic 10. Saint Louis leads the conference with 12.91 fastbreak points per game, while Rhode Island scores 12.77 per game in transition.
• Both schools rank in the top 50 nationally in the category. The Billikens are 42nd, while URI is 26th.

• Rhode Island and Saint Louis will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network.
• John Sadack will handle the play-by-play with Avery Johnson as the color analyst.
• The game is part of an Atlantic 10 doubleheader, with Dayton at VCU airing at 7 p.m.

RAMS PROVING TO BE NIGHT OWLS

• Rhode Island has played far better during its midweek contests than during the rest of the week this season.
• When playing on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Rams have a winning record of 6-4.
• On games played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, URI is 2-10.
• The team has yet to play any games on either Thursday or Friday.
• Rhode Island is 3-6 when playing in the afternoon, and it is 5-8 in games starting after 4 p.m.
• Of the final eight regular-season games, five will be played at night.
