- If URI beats Davidson, Loyola Chicago wins and both La Salle and St. Bonaventure lose, Rhode Island would be the eighth seed.
- If URI beats Davidson, St. Bonaventure ties, La Salle loses and Loyola Chicago ties or loses, Rhode Island would be the seventh seed.
- If URI beats Davidson, St. Bonaventure ties, La Salle loses and Loyola Chicago wins, Rhode Island would be the eighth seed.
- If there is a four-way tie between Davidson, La Salle, St. Bonaventure and Rhode Island, there are no head-to-head or common opponent tiebreakers in play. Postseason spots may be determined by RPI rankings, goal differential in A-10 conference games or even a coin flip or draw.
- If any two out of La Salle, St. Bonaventure and Loyola Chicago win, Rhode Island is eliminated regardless of its own result.
