A-10 Announces Men's Basketball Pairings for 2024-25

KINGSTON, R.I. – Rhode Island will visit both of the Atlantic 10 co-regular season champions, as well as the A-10 Championship winner during the league portion of the 2024-25 season.

The conference released the men's basketball pairings Wednesday afternoon. Rhode Island will host Dayton, VCU, St. Bonaventure and George Washington. Dayton was the third-place finisher last season, while VCU (fifth) and St. Bonaventure (seventh) also finished in the top half of the league.

The Rams also will play home-and-home series against Massachusetts, George Mason, La Salle and Fordham. The four home-and-home opponents are the same for Rhode Island for the third consecutive season.

Rhode Island visits both Richmond and Loyola Chicago during league play. The Spiders and Ramblers tied for the regular-season title with matching 15-3 records. Richmond won the tiebreaker between the teams. Rhody also visits defending A-10 tournament winner Duquesne, which reached the second round of the 2024 NCAA Championship after its improbable run to the league title. URI's final road game in league play will be at Saint Joseph's.

The conference schedule features four home-and-home series, plus five individual games at home and on the road for every team in the conference. This gives each school an 18-game slate for A-10 play.

Dates and tip times for all conference games will be announced at a later date.
