RHODE ISLAND VS. CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE - SERIES NOTES

  • Wednesday will be the sixth meeting between Rhode Island and Central Connecticut State.
  • The series began in 1988.
  • It is an evenly matched history. Each side has won one time, with three of the five matches resulting in ties.

  • Seven members of the team will be honored during a pregame ceremony.
  • Goalie Caleb McNeil, midfielder Austin Rocke, midfielder Joan Sanchis, defender/midfielder Brett Schwab, forward Mathias Taylor, defender Joey Turco and midfielder Parker Vasic all will be recognized.
  • Sanchis and Schwab are the team's captains.
  • Schwab, Taylor and Turco have all been with the program for four seasons, while McNeil is in his third year.
