KINGSTON, R.I. - Rhode Island moved up in both national FCS polls after Saturday's win at Elon. The Rams jumped from No. 14 to No. 11 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 and from No. 10 to No. 9 in the AFCA Coaches Poll. 

Rhody made an impressive three-spot jump in the Stats poll. Its spot at No. 11 is the highest Rhode Island has been since appearing at No. 6 on Sept. 22. The Rams received 800 points in the poll. No. 10 Villanova tallied 888 points. No. 12 Monmouth is the only other CAA Football program to appear in the poll. New Hampshire also received votes.

The Rams received 379 points in the AFCA poll, good for ninth-best in the poll. Rhody is behind No. 8 Mercer (SoCon) who received 423 points. No. 7 Villanova and No. 12 Monmouth are the other CAA Football programs to appear in the AFCA poll. New Hampshire received votes. 

Rhode Island heads to Orono, Maine this weekend for a match up with Maine. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and will air on FloCollege.com.
