ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The final round of the World Golf Village Collegiate was called off due to weather conditions. Rhode Island finished the 16-team event in fifth place.
North Florida won the team title by finishing 25 strokes ahead of the field and had the top four individual finishers in the 100-player field. Rhode Island freshman
Luke Stennett tied for fourth place and was the only player not from North Florida to finish in the top five.
Rhode Island will be off until March 24 when it competes at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va.
