ORLANDO, Fla.
– Rhode Island finished sixth at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship, with graduate transfer Sean Magarian leading the Rams by finishing 11th in the individual standings. Following the tournament, freshman Luke Stennett was named the A-10 Rookie of the Year while also earning a spot on the league's all-conference team.

Magarian shot even par on the final day of the Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship, finishing the tournament 1-under par. He was steady over the course of the three-round championship, shooting 2-under on Day One, 1-over on the second day and even par Thursday.

Each of Rhody's other four members of the lineup were all at least 4-over par in the final round. Freshman Tyler Bruneau finished 22 nd overall, while Josiah Tong came in 27th. Stennett placed 28th and junior Aidan O'Donovan was 39th.

After the tournament, the league announced its postseason awards. Stennett became the first Rhode Island player to be named the league's rookie of the year since the award was started in 2017.

Stennett had a remarkable first season with the Rams. In eight regular-season tournaments, he won one title and recorded five top-five finishes. Stennett placed in the top 10 each of his first eight events.
