Rhode Island women's track and field continued its 2026 season at the Scarlet and White Invitational at Boston University on Saturday afternoon. The afternoon's events were highlighted by Abigail Colella's 500m win and the team's win in the 4000m medley relay. 

Highlights 

• Abigail Colella won the 500m with a time of 1:15.82. 
• The team of Kelsey Wolff, Greta Dahl, Lilly Pittakas, and Leyla Kvaternik placed first in the 4000m medley relay with a time of 12:01.84.
• Lily Saul (2:04.94) was second in the 800m, while Zoe Catrambone (2:10.93) was eighth.
• Saul's time break's her own school record in the 800m. Her previous record was 2:05.40.
• Macy Daigle placed second after leaping 5' 5" in the high jump. 
• Allison Vigue finished third in the pole vault with a mark of 11' 9.75". 
• Madison Boucher was 10^th (49' 3") and Alyssa Yankee was 12^th (48' 7.25") in the weight throw.
• Lily MacDonald was 8^th (37' 10.5") and Kiley Mironenko was 12^th (33' 9.5") in the triple jump. 
• The Rams had two top 10 finishers in the 5000m run. Gwen McCloughan (18:02.69) was fourth and Hailey LaRosa (18:12.73) was eighth. 
• Reagan Garibaldi was seventh in the 400m dash with a time of 56.10. 
• Rhode Island had three more top 10 finishers in the 500m including Anna-Rose Merchant in sixth (1:17.08), Keira Cleary in eighth (1:17.22), and Laurel Filiberto in ninth (1:17.46). 
• The team of Colella, Saul, Cleary, and Merchant placed fifth in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:51.07.

Rhode Island will head back to Boston University to compete at the John Thomas Terrier Classic Invitational, on Friday, Jan. 30. The meet is set for a 10 a.m. start.
