Online Nomination Form

KINGSTON, R.I. – The University of Rhode Island Athletic Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for the Class of 2026.

Information about the induction ceremony will be shared at a later date.

Nominations can be submitted by completing the online form available on GoRhody.com or by emailing nomination materials to Shane Donaldson, associate athletic director for communication and new media at shane_donaldson@uri.edu.

This will be the first class inducted since 2025, when Geoff Camerson (men's soccer), Jeremy Collins (men's track and field), Lilli Falconer Deering (women's swimming and diving), Jasmine Jennings (women's track and field), Anthony Latronica (men's soccer), Darren Rizzi (football), Michael Sims (men's golf) and Kevin Smith (football) were welcomed.
 
Individuals submitting nominations are asked to be as thorough as possible when completing all fields on the Hall of Fame nomination form - especially collegiate academic and athletic honors. Providing updated contact info for both the nominee and the person completing the form is helpful as well. 
 
The University of Rhode Island Athletic Department Hall of Fame Requirements

• An athlete must have competed two full seasons in one sport or one full season in two or more sports and have attended URI a minimum of two years.
• The athlete will not be considered until 10 years after his/her class graduates.
• A coach or athletics administrator must have served at URI for at least five years and have retired (or left the university) three years prior to being selected.
• The student-athlete, coach, or administrator must have departed URI in good standing, accomplished an outstanding competitive career, and represented the values of the University of Rhode Island both during their tenure and after.
